Did you leave a note?

Posted on 6/26/2016 by Greg Yoder

Today, we conclude the ten obvious things kids want from Mom.1 By the way, you can find the other tips in our archives at ParentMinute.org. The second-to-last thing your son or daughter wants from you is to discipline them when they need it. When you fail to do that, you’re subtly telling your kids you don’t care. The Bible says, “Whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him” (Proverbs 13:24, ESV). And, finally, Mom, make sure you’re leaving your son or daughter messages in their books or lunches. These little acts of appreciation can go a long way toward building a loving relationship that will last a lifetime. From those relationships you’ll have a ton of opportunities to not just tell them about Christ—but to help them KNOW Him.
