I am not a fan of chores. But, I do like projects. I enjoy working with my hands. Gail wrote in suggesting I talk about how working together with our kids can be fun. That reminds me of a time when my kids were a litter younger. My wife was working, and I was home with the kids. The kitchen was a mess, and I decided it was going to be a family project. Together we washed dishes, dried them, put them way, wiped down the countertops, and swept and mopped the floor. That was part of the fun—I told my kids to get their swimming suits on, put soapy water on the floor, and we had an indoor slip-n-slide. What a blast. Spiritual significance? Proverbs 17:22, "A joyful heart is good medicine."
