Meet Greg Yoder, President of Keys for Kids Ministries

I grew up in a Christian home, and we were always in church. I made a profession of faith when I was six years old, but looking back, it was more like “fire insurance” than a true relationship with Jesus Christ. Even so, God was at work in my life. During high school, He began to get hold of my heart and used difficult circumstances to direct me where He wanted me to go.
I was not especially motivated in school, and my grades were not strong enough to get into the college I had hoped to attend. So I began at a community college. That unexpected step is where God introduced me to radio.
That new interest led me to pursue a Christian college where I could study broadcasting. My mother found Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music, and it became the perfect fit. There, I not only studied Christian radio, but I also had the opportunity to be on the air.
I did not finish my education there at the time because I was offered my first part-time job in Christian radio. Just a few months later, that opened the door to a full-time position at WMPC Radio, where I served for nearly ten years.
In 1995, God led me to Mission Network News. Over the next 20 years, our team saw the network grow to more than 1,000 radio outlets while also expanding through digital media. Together, we shared thousands of stories about what God was doing around the world.
Later, in 2011, I returned to school to complete what I had started, and in 2013 I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.
Then, in 2015, God led me to Keys for Kids Ministries, a ministry I had listened to as a child. That was a full-circle moment for me. Since then, God has allowed us to see significant growth and ministry impact. We updated our internet presence to reach today’s families more effectively. We developed the Keys for Kids Storyteller program to bring God’s Word and biblical audio content to children and families in hard-to-reach places. We launched Keys for Camps to help Christian camps continue discipling children after they return home. In 2019, we added Unlocked, our devotional for teens. Since then, Keys for Kids and Unlocked have been translated into 13 languages as of 2026, helping us share the Gospel with kids and teens around the world. Through our partnership efforts, God has also used these outreach tools to help plant 23 churches in Afghanistan.
God has given me a deep passion to share the Gospel with children. Over the years, I have traveled to different parts of the world to share Christ with orphaned and disadvantaged children, and I also served for a season on the board of Orphan Outreach.
Why does this matter so deeply to me? Because many people come to faith in Christ between the ages of 4 and 14. I want to help provide the biblical tools parents, grandparents, churches, and ministries need to reach children with the truth of the Gospel and impact the next generation for Jesus Christ.
I can also turn this into a shorter bio, speaking introduction, or ministry-profile version.
