Help Keys for Kids reach kids in Albania

Hope for Albania: Bringing the Gospel to 75,000 People

Grand Rapids, Mich (K4K) — Albania is a beautiful country with rich history and culture—but spiritually, the need is great.

“Less than one percent of the people are born-again Christians,” says a ministry partner we’ll call “Brother Paul.” For security reasons, we can’t share his real name, but his heart for his homeland is clear.

Brother Paul grew up in Albania and came to faith in Christ through an unexpected and powerful moment. After his older brother was beaten by Muslims for his faith, Paul wanted revenge. But God had other plans.

“When I went to take revenge, God stopped me,” he explains. “That was the day my brother shared the gospel clearly with me. That was the day Jesus came into my heart and changed me.”

Support our effort to send 500 Storytellers to Albania.

Instead of hatred, God filled Paul’s heart with love for the very people who had harmed his brother. “They act this way because they don’t know the truth,” he says.

Today, Brother Paul’s brother leads a church in Albania, faithfully sharing the gospel and reaching Albanians—many of them from Muslim backgrounds—with the hope of Christ.

But reaching people takes time and relationship. “When you share the gospel with Muslims, you must build friendship first,” Paul explains. “They want to see the difference. They want to see Christ in us.”

That’s where Keys for Kids Storytellers can make a powerful impact. Storytellers are solar-powered audio devices loaded with the Bible and Keys for Kids stories in the local language. They’re simple to use and perfect for families and children. “When you reach the kids, you reach the hearts of the parents,” Brother Paul says. “If you love their kids, you love them.”

The stories capture children’s attention, but the message goes much deeper. “The parents will listen too,” he says. “They’ll hear the stories and the Bible and realize this is very good teaching for their children. These stories will bring them to the truth—to Jesus.”

Brother Paul is asking Keys for Kids Ministries for 500 Storytellers to help the unreached come to Christ. The cost for this outreach is $10,000.

Here’s the exciting part: a generous donor has pledged to match every gift given—dollar for dollar—up to $5,000.

That means your gift will be doubled, helping us place even more Storytellers into the hands of families who have never heard the gospel.

Each Storyteller is heard by about 150 people on average. That means 500 Storytellers could reach approximately 75,000 people with God’s Word.

Brother Paul plans to place them strategically—with church leaders, in villages, and among families who are open to hearing about Christ. “These machines are excellent for sharing the gospel,” he says. “The Albanian people are very unreached right now. We want them to know the truth. The hope is only in Christ.”

And the vision doesn’t stop with Albania. Albanian-speaking people live throughout the region—in Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and beyond. These Storytellers could open doors across the Balkans.

Would you prayerfully consider helping us meet this need? Your gift today will help bring the gospel to tens of thousands of people who are searching for truth.

And thanks to the $5,000 matching challenge, every dollar you give right now will have twice the impact.

Together, we can help Albanian families hear the life-changing message of Jesus—for the very first time.
