  1. Have you ever felt unwanted by a friend or family member? How did it make you feel?
  2. Who always loves you no matter what? How does that make you feel?
  3. Did you ever feel like God wouldn't love you because you made a mistake? 
  4. How do you get adopted into God’s family?
  5. How can you show God’s love to others?

Monkey Business—Summer 

  1. How do you believe the world and universe were created?
  2. Do you think that people evolved from monkeys? Why or why not?
  3. Has your teacher ever taught you evolution? If not, how did your teacher explain how the universe was created?
  4. How do you react or what do you say when someone talks about evolution?
  5. What Bible verses focus on how the world was created?

Lost in the African Bush—Autumn 

  1. Have you ever spoken to missionaries? If so, what stories did they share with you?
  2. Have you ever been on a mission trip? If so, where did you go and what did you do?
  3. Think about how Mr. Bingham explained John 8:12. Talk about what Jesus means to you.
  4. Were you ever caught outside in a storm? How did you find the courage to get through the scary times?
  5. Think of ways Jesus has been your light during dark moments in your life. How can you always turn to Him right now and in the future? How can you help others turn to the light of Jesus?                                                                              

The Only Gift—Winter 

  1. How is Jesus God’s gift to us?
  2. What are the gifts that you give to Jesus? Talk about how you can work with others to use all of your gifts to do even more for Jesus.
  3. Have you ever been in a play at church or school? Did you find yourself learning more about God just by playing the part? If you’ve never been in a play, have you ever learned more about your own faith just by being in the audience?
  4. Do you think Jesus accepts your gift? What is your biggest gift that you can give to Him?
  5. Have you asked Jesus to be your Savior?

The King’s Daughter—Spring

  1. Have you ever been in a play or some other type of performance? How did you feel when you went on-stage? How did you feel when you got off-stage?
  2. What are some of your responsibilities at home, school, and church? Do you do them with a joyful spirit or a grumbling spirit?
  3. What kinds of things do you like learning about or doing at home and church? How can you find ways to appreciate those things you don’t like?

  1. Have you ever wanted something really bad, so you practiced over and over? What was the activity? What were the results of your efforts?
  2. Has anyone ever ruined something either by mistake or on purpose? How did that make you feel? 
  3. Did you forgive that person for ruining your project or putting you down?
  4. Have you ever ruined something either on purpose or on accident? Did you apologize? What happened?
  5. How did you turn something that seemed bad at first into something good? Did you thank God for what He did for you?

  1. Do you have a sibling who you feel very different from? What things do you have in common? 
  2. Have you ever lost a pet or special animal? How did you get through the painful times and tears?
  3. God always wants to listen to you. What do you say when you talk to God? Do you thank Him for both the good times and the bad times?
  4. Have you ever lost a special friend or loved one? How did you work your way through the sad times? Did you talk to anyone about how you felt? Did you talk to God?
  5. Sometimes it’s hard to understand why certain people are no longer in our lives. If we’re Christians, where will we go when we die? How does that make you feel?
