Egypt (K4K) -- Sharing the gospel with kids in North America has been the focus of Keys for Kids Ministries (formerly Children’s Bible Hour) since the very beginning. For nearly 80 years, God has used Keys for Kids to see millions of lives impacted. Today, the ministry is poised to reach people in the Middle East and around the world who speak Arabic.
Thanks to a partnership between Keys for Kids Ministries and SAT-7, a Christian satellite television ministry to the Middle East and North Africa, Arabic-speaking children can now hear Keys for Kids devotional stories in their own language through our Storyteller program.
“This is a dream come true,” says Greg Yoder, President of Keys for Kids Ministries. “So many children throughout the Middle East are looking for spiritual truth. Many thought they had found it through Islam or other religions. Now, they’re finding THE truth in Christ alone as they listen to our stories that point them to God’s Word,” he added.
Dr. Wafaa Wahba began translating Keys for Kids into Egyptian Arabic many years ago. SAT-7 saw the printed copies and realized their ministry could utilize them on television, but they also wanted to produce audio for the Keys for Kids Storytellers, which are solar-powered MP3 players that have an audio Bible and Keys for Kids stories on them.
SAT-7 CEO Rita Elmounayer says, “We’re excited to partner with Keys for Kids. When I read their stories, I knew we had to partner with them. We are starting with audio and then bit by bit we’re going to produce programs for TV. Thousands and thousands of children will be exposed to the love of God through this partnership.”
We’re waiting for Storytellers to be delivered in Arabic, Albanian, Greek, and Macedonian. English and Spanish Storytellers are already available at keysforkids.org/storyteller. Scholarship and ministry prices are available. Call or email Keys for Kids Ministries for details.
The Arabic Storytellers are expected to be delivered by June 15, 2019. If you'd like to donate to the Storyteller program to go here keysforkids.org/storyteller.
